Contest Details

O&G is sponsoring a Safety Poster Contest, asking kids to illustrate through posters the importance of safety. In conjunction with OSHA’s 2024 National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction this year’s poster theme is “What Does Safety Mean To You?”.

The Safety Poster Contest asks kids to take on an advocacy role and communicate the importance of safety. This year’s theme – “What Does Safety Mean To You?” aims to raise awareness and reinforce the importance of safety on construction sites and in the office. Participants are encouraged to think about why workplace safety is important to them and how it impacts their lives and lives of their family and loved ones. This is a broad topic, so be creative!

The contest is open to kids ages 5 to 18 of O&G employees, their extended families and friends – all eligible and encouraged to participate in the contest.

Prizes (awarded to each age division):
First Place: $500
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $100

The winning designs will be featured on the O&G Industries website and other social media outlets, and they will be a centerpiece of Construction Safety Week, which begins May 1, 2024.
