PROJECT Details

The Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Center for Innovation and Active Citizenship is located in the center of the Fredrick Gunn School campus, allowing the school to house its innovative science, math, engineering, technology, entrepreneurship, and citizenship curriculum in one location overlooking the school’s historic Quad. It features state of the art science labs and bright learning spaces that encourage collaboration and critical thinking among the students.

The Frederick Gunn School is committed to reducing their carbon footprint and operating in a more sustainable way. The new building was built to standards as close to carbon neutral as possible and includes a geothermal system, triple-glazed glass that maximizes energy efficiency and provides greater insulation, a super-efficient, highly insulated building envelope, and roof-top solar panels.
