PROJECT Details

This new facility was designed to consolidate the School’s theater arts, dance arts, fine arts, and music arts on campus, and includes the “Pavilion,” a 3-story, 715-seat concert hall, as well as practice rooms, ensemble rooms, classrooms, and faculty offices.

The Pavilion features a music listening room and state-of-the-art acoustics for performances and rehearsals. Moveable wall panels open to a terrace and lawn for large community concerts. Inside, a flat floor orchestra with loose seating, like that of the Boston Symphony Hall, provides flexibility for a variety of functions.

The Center is situated to capture the panorama of a nearby lake and mountains. The new building was constructed of recycled and sustainable materials and is LEED certified.
