Darien’s Hindley, Holmes, and Royle Elementary School Renovations

O&G, along with joint venture partner A.P. Construction, are managing the simultaneous alteration and addition projects on three elementary schools in Darien, CT – Hindley (67,400 square feet, $22.9M), Holmes (63,200 square feet, $20.7M), and Royle (70,600 square-foot, $24.5M). Designed by KG&D Architects, the $101.5 million work on the three occupied elementary schools commenced in June 2024 and is expected to take two years to complete. The schools are undergoing extensive renovations, including adding new building wings, removing portable classrooms, redesigning the libraries, and mechanical upgrades.
