This facility features two year-round ice arenas. Both venues’ environments are controlled by state-of-the-art, energy-efficient exchange cooling systems and lit using daylight-harvesting technology.
The larger rink offers stadium-style seating for 600 spectators, a two-sided press box, and a reception suite with a fireplace overlooking the rink. When its boards are removed, the smaller 150-seat rink has the ability to transform into a theater, capable of seating up to 1,500 people and hosting special events such as the summer choral festival. Additional amenities include locker rooms, athletics offices, a reception area, a conference suite, a 4,000 SF fitness and stretching center, a 2,500 SF sports medicine suite, equipment storage, and laundry facilities.
Also constructed were baseball and soccer fields, track and field venues, and site work for a new maintenance facility. New campus utility infrastructure was established for the athletic facility and maintenance facility.
