PROJECT Details

O&G and Tutor-Saliba Corporation teamed up to construct this 20-mile rail and roadway corridor. The Alameda Corridor consists of a series of bridges, underpasses, overpasses, and street improvements that separate freight trains from street traffic and passenger trains. It was designed to expedite the movement of containers being transported from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach and rail transfer yards in downtown Los Angeles. A 10-mile stretch of the corridor is 33 feet below street level and required the construction of 29 concrete bridges.
