O&G Industries, one of the country’s Top 400 Contractors, recently completed the Saxe Middle School Addition and Renovation project on the school’s campus in New Canaan, Connecticut.
The $18.6 million renovation and addition project included the construction of a two-story classroom addition that includes 17 new classrooms and the renovation of 2 classrooms and 4 music rooms. The project also included the renovation of a 700-seat auditorium, improvements to the cafeteria and kitchen area, and construction of additional storage space within the auditorium and music spaces.
The project team includes construction manager O&G Industries of Torrington, Connecticut; owner’s representative SLAM Construction Services of Glastonbury, Connecticut; and project architect JCJ Architecture of Hartford, Connecticut.
The 18-month project was substantially completed and turned over to school officials in the fall of 2017.
