O&G: THE GOLD STANDARD

Providing Construction Services and Products in the Northeast

O&G Industries, Inc. is one of the Northeast’s leading providers of construction services and products.  For 100 years, O&G has completed some of the region’s most challenging projects and established ourselves as a leader in our industry – and in the communities in which we live and work.

O&G was founded by Andrew Oneglia and Flaviano Gervasini who set out to build a small business based on principles of quality service and excellence in craftsmanship. Their company culture was deeply rooted in a commitment to family values. That commitment still exists today.

100 Years of Construction Experience

Founded in 1923, O&G has extensive construction expertise that ranges in size and scope from healthcare, where the site must be kept impeccably clean and quiet, to major highway interchanges, where commuter traffic presents an uncontrollable variable that must be constantly managed.
The Oneglia Family

Family Owned

O&G is a fourth-generation, family-owned company. Owners actively manage daily operations and projects and are often seen on job sites, providing leadership throughout a project’s lifecycle.

Industry Leader

Since 1964, O&G has consistently ranked as one of the country’s top 400 construction companies by Engineering News Record and is one of the Northeast’s largest privately-owned construction companies. Clients include some of the most well-respected in the region and worldwide. Our leadership team frequently provides input for industry legislation and participates in industry roundtables.

Vast Capabilities

From building and road construction services to mason products and construction materials, O&G has it covered. Our product portfolio includes the distribution of aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and specialty products through our network of six quarries, eight concrete plants, and nine asphalt plants located throughout Connecticut and Eastern New York. We have a proven track record in meeting mix specifications, while each of our plants has onsite testing capabilities to measure product performance.

Extensive Equipment Fleet

Recognized by industry publications and leading equipment manufacturers like Caterpillar, O&G has one of the industry’s most comprehensive and well-maintained company-owned equipment inventories. The fleet includes more than 3,500 vehicles and pieces of equipment. Six repair facilities provide complete, in-house maintenance for the entire fleet.

An Experienced Team

O&G has one of the industry’s most skilled and experienced teams, including professional engineers, registered architects, field supervisors, estimators, and hundreds of tradespeople.

Commitment to Safety

Safety is the most important thing we do. We are committed to customized approaches for the safety of our employees, clients, and communities where we work. O&G has been recognized with 20 Association of General Contractors safety awards since 2000 and has been recognized for 17 consecutive years by the Connecticut Construction Industries Association for industry-leading safety practices.

Community Minded

From toy drives to supporting the American Cancer Society, O&G is a community-engaged company. Our employees are active in their local communities, contributing thousands of volunteer hours and support for nonprofit and civic organizations each year. It’s what we do as people, not out of obligation, to help others, build relationships, and give back as much as possible. Explore our community efforts

Environmental Stewards

In 2018 O&G and its Board of Directors adopted an Environmental Policy “to protect the environment for the health, safety, and quality of life for our communities, our employees, our customers, and the general public.” Conducting operations in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner is a priority of leadership and an inherent responsibility of every O&G employee.
