After spending last summer as an intern on the Meriden Interchange project, Shakeer Bartlett has officially joined the O&G family full-time.
Shakeer started on June 1 as a Junior Project Engineer – Traffic on Phase 3 of the project. In his role, he supports the maintenance and protection of traffic, including work related to concrete barriers, pavement markings, and signage, which are critical to keeping the project moving safely for crews and the traveling public.
A May graduate of UConn with a degree in Civil Engineering, Shakeer brings firsthand experience from his internship and a strong connection to the Meriden team. Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, reading nonfiction and history, and going on hikes.
