O&G Industries Named ENR New England’s 2026 Contractor of the Year

The honor comes during a year marked by some of O&G’s most significant work, including the Amtrak Connecticut River Bridge, the I-91/I-691/Route 15 Interchange Improvements in Meriden, and the Manchester Public Library. Together, these projects demonstrate O&G’s range: delivering technically demanding transportation infrastructure, improving essential public corridors, and advancing the Building Group’s proven experience in successful net-zero construction, with Manchester Public Library as its most current example.

Beyond the scale and complexity of the work, ENR’s selection also speaks to the people who make it possible: field teams, safety professionals, craftspeople, drivers, operators, administrative teams, and support staff who bring skill, discipline, and pride to every job.

Across the company, that commitment is strengthened by employees who have built long careers at O&G and by young professionals choosing to grow here. Their teamwork, experience, and shared focus on doing the job right help O&G solve complex challenges, support clients, and build projects that serve communities across New England.

O&G’s impact also extends beyond the jobsite. Through Crew for a Cause, our employee-driven charitable giving program, team members help direct support to causes that matter to them and to the communities where O&G has fixed locations. Since the program was created in 2023, Crew for a Cause has provided more than $1 million to local charities and municipal projects. For 103 years, O&G has grown through trusted partnerships, strong project delivery, and a companywide commitment to building well. Being named ENR New England’s 2026 Contractor of the Year marks an important milestone in that history and points to the work still ahead.
