Women in Construction Week & Our Inaugural Outstanding Women of O&G
Each year during Women in Construction Week, O&G takes time to recognize the women across our company whose leadership, expertise, and dedication help strengthen our projects, our teams, and our culture.
From the jobsite to the office, from fabrication to executive leadership, women across O&G play an essential role in the success of our organization. Today, we are proud to employ 105 women across our company, representing 14% of our workforce, which is above the national construction industry average of 11%. Their contributions reflect our ongoing commitment to building a diversified workplace where talent thrives and opportunity is open to all.
This year’s celebration also marks a meaningful milestone: the launch of O&G’s first-ever Outstanding Women of O&G recognition program.
The Outstanding Women of O&G Program
Created this year to celebrate the women whose work strengthens our organization every day, the Outstanding Women of O&G program invited employees across the company to nominate colleagues who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, leadership, and dedication to our values.
Dozens of nominations were submitted recognizing 22 exceptional women from every division of the company. The stories shared through these nominations highlighted resilience, teamwork, innovation, and a deep commitment to excellence; all qualities that define the culture of O&G.
Selecting just two honorees from such a strong group proved to be a difficult task for the selection committee.
We extend our sincere thanks to every employee who took the time to submit a nomination. Your thoughtful submissions helped shine a light on the incredible women who contribute to O&G’s success every day. We also thank the members of the selection committee for dedicating their time to reviewing each nomination and helping launch this inaugural program.
