The Young Professionals Group recently hosted a panel discussion featuring experienced members of O&G’s Building Group, offering insights into a range of career paths — from preconstruction and estimating to project management and leadership.
Panelists were selected by the YPG Board to represent diverse roles and backgrounds, and audience questions were gathered through a group-wide survey. The result was an engaging, informative session that gave attendees a better understanding of the many directions a career at O&G can take.
“This event gave us a chance to hear honest, first-hand experiences from people who’ve been where we are,” said John Garizio, YPG President. “It was reassuring to learn there’s no one ‘right’ path — and exciting to see how many directions we can go.”
The YPG Board extends its thanks to the panelists for their time and transparency, and to everyone who submitted questions and participated in the event.
