We are excited to introduce Heather Stannard as our newest team member at O&G Industries, Inc. Heather joins us as a Credit & Collections Analyst, bringing with her a wealth of experience from over two decades in the industry.
Heather’s career began at the Torrington Water Company, where she worked for 21 years and held various roles. Notably, she served as a Team Lead overseeing Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Customer Service. Her passion for community service shone through as she worked directly with customers, helping them with payments and addressing their needs.
Following her time at Torrington Water, Heather worked at Companion Industries in Southington for four years as an Admin and HR Assistant. There, she gained valuable experience managing accounts, collections, workers’ compensation claims, and employee events.
When she’s not hard at work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family. She has been happily married for 24 years and is the proud mother of two sons in the construction field—one a welder at O&G and the other training as a heavy equipment operator. Heather is also thrilled to have a 7-month-old granddaughter and is deeply rooted in the construction industry, with both her father and brother having long-standing careers in the field.
Heather’s dedication to community extends beyond her professional life. She has spent years volunteering and serving on the board for Torrington Little League, and she also ran the Torrington Raider Football Parents Group, organizing fundraisers to support local youth sports.
In her free time, Heather loves to cherish moments with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Please join us in welcoming Heather to the team! We look forward to her contributions and the positive impact she’ll make at O&G Industries.
