Promotion Spotlight: Brendan Harris Earns Well-Deserved Promotion in Masonry Division

Brendan Harris’ career at O&G is a story of steady growth, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. After joining the company in 2017, Brendan spent eight years in a support role within the Masonry Division, working closely with Jack Harding and John Baranoski. In that position, he became deeply familiar with the complexities of import documentation and logistics, a foundation that would prove invaluable as his responsibilities expanded. On August 1, 2025, Brendan officially stepped into his new role as Fabrication & Import Project Manager for the Mason Division and Beacon Falls Fabrication facility, marking a new chapter in his professional journey.

In this position, Brendan oversees the import and shipment of all overseas materials for O&G’s Masonry Division. This includes managing the flow of hardscape stock items to O&G’s masonry yards, as well as coordinating large custom orders and raw materials used in production at the Beacon Falls facility. It’s a role that requires precision, foresight, and a steady hand to navigate the ever-evolving global trade environment, a challenge Brendan embraces wholeheartedly. “Imports and sea freight are changing daily or weekly,” he noted. “There will always be a certain level of reactivity, but identifying trends and implementing proactive changes is key.”

For Brendan, this promotion isn’t defined by one pivotal moment but rather by a career built on continuous learning and preparation. Each step along the way has contributed to the confidence and skill set he now brings to his leadership role. He finds the greatest reward in seeing projects move through every stage—from design to production and, finally, installation—transforming plans on paper into tangible results. “Seeing order confirmations and plans come together into a finished product brings a great sense of pride,” he said.

As he steps into this next phase, Brendan is motivated by the opportunity to maintain and enhance the high standards that have long defined O&G’s operations. His goal is not only to uphold those expectations but also to streamline processes for greater efficiency and responsiveness. His advice to others aspiring to grow within the company reflects the same grounded work ethic that has shaped his career: “Make yourself an asset to the company and ‘own’ your job duties. Being accountable and honest are highly desirable qualities.”

Outside of work, Brendan finds balance and renewal through mountain biking, often venturing into the woods after long days to clear his mind and recharge. Managing multiple projects and shipments across numerous processes can be demanding, but those evening rides, paired with family time, help him stay focused and energized.

Congratulations to Brendan on a well-deserved promotion! His hard work, dedication, and steady leadership have made a lasting impact on the Masonry Division. We’re excited to see all he’ll accomplish in this new role!

Brendan’s promotion is the well-earned result of years of hard work and a genuine passion for what he does. His commitment to the team and the pride he takes in every project have made him an invaluable part of O&G’s Masonry Division. As he takes on this new challenge as Fabrication & Import Project Manager, there’s no doubt he’ll continue to raise the bar, just as he always has. Congratulations, Brendan!
