$10 Million Project Will Modernize Library and Create New Campus Welcome Center
Torrington, CT — O&G Industries, a leading construction management firm in the northeast, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the contract to manage the renovation of the Pope Pius XII Library at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in West Hartford, Connecticut. The $10 million project will modernize the library and enhance the campus experience through a new entryway and Welcome Center from the adjacent parking lot.
As Construction Manager at Risk, O&G will oversee the transformation of the existing library interior, including the conversion of traditional stack areas on the first and second floors into a dynamic Learning Commons. The new space will be designed to promote collaboration, innovation, and student engagement through the integration of Information Resources and adaptable academic environments.

Construction is scheduled to begin later this year, with completion anticipated in 2026.
