As part of our ongoing commitment to proactive safety, O&G has continued to partner with CONN-OSHA to conduct a series of onsite safety consultation walks at several of our project locations across Connecticut.
These visits are part of CONN-OSHA’s no-cost Consultation Services Program, which supports employers in areas like injury and illness prevention, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance. Unlike enforcement inspections, these consultations are collaborative, educational, and designed to help employers improve workplace safety without the risk of citations or penalties.
The collaboration has been a valuable resource for both O&G and our subcontracting partners.
The feedback and recommendations from these visits have already led to enhancements on several projects and will continue to influence our safety practices moving forward.
“The insights provided by CONN-OSHA during these visits have been extremely helpful,” said Tim Barberet, Safety Director at O&G. “Their team confirms many of the things we’re doing well and also helps us identify opportunities for growth. This partnership strengthens our safety program and supports our goal of maintaining a culture where safety is a shared priority at every level.”
O&G looks forward to continuing this relationship and applying what we’ve learned to further elevate our safety standards across all job sites.
