At O&G, we are proud to recognize and celebrate Women in Construction Week™, observed March 2-8. This annual event highlights the important role of women in the construction industry, both nationally and within our own company. This year’s theme Together We Rise celebrates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the construction industry.
We are honored to employ 118 women in various roles, including executives, administrators, project engineers, operators, and laborers, making up 17% of our workforce. This is above the national industry average of 11.5% (up from 10.8% in 2024) and reflects our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the construction field.
Women in Construction Week also serves as a time to bring attention to the opportunities available to women in this field and to encourage others to join us in this rewarding and dynamic industry. By celebrating confident and hardworking women, educating others about the possibilities, and removing the stigma against women in construction, we are paving the way for more opportunities and advancements for women in our industry. We are proud to be a part of this movement and are grateful for the contributions of women in construction.
