Norton Project Team Gets A Shoutout For Involving Students

At the June 10th Cheshire Town Council meeting, O&G was publicly praised for doing a “magnificent” job keeping Norton Elementary students engaged and informed throughout construction.

As part of our O&G Builds program, the project team has been giving each class guided tours of the site – showing students where their new classrooms, gym, and bus drop-off will be, and explaining what’s happening during each phase of the build.

The tours have been a fun, educational way to connect students with the real-world work happening around them, while also sparking interest in how buildings come to life.

This kind of community connection is at the heart of what we do—and it’s always great to see that effort recognized.

Kudos to the Norton project team for making construction both informative and inspiring for the next generation!
