Intern Spotlight: Grace Fragale

Business Intelligence Intern
Penn State University, Finance and Accounting, Class of 2026

Back for her second summer with O&G, Grace Fragale returned as a Business Intelligence Intern ready to build on everything she learned last year. She’s embraced new challenges and taken a deeper dive into data analysis, working on high-impact projects that support decision-making across the company.

This summer, she’s focused on projects that analyze production trends and performance at O&G’s concrete plants. “I’m conducting break-even analysis and building visual graphs to track production, revenue, and cost trends over time,” she explains. “These projects are exciting because I get to apply and improve my Excel skills while presenting data in a way that’s clear and insightful.”

Grace says one of the most valuable lessons she’s learned this summer is the importance of perseverance and creative problem-solving. “There were times when I ran into challenges or setbacks while working on projects,” she shares, “but by staying persistent and exploring alternative solutions, I was able to overcome them and keep moving forward.” It’s an experience that has strengthened her confidence and adaptability.

Grace credits much of her growth to her supervisor, Scott Kokosa, who has mentored her through both summers. “His support has helped me grow both personally and professionally,” she says. “He’s played a huge role in my experience here.”

Grace’s advice to future interns? “Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Everyone at O&G is so kind and always willing to help.”

When she’s not analyzing spreadsheets, Grace enjoys working out, reading, and spending time outdoors—activities that, much like her work at O&G, keep her balanced, focused, and always learning.
