We are excited to share that our Danbury Concrete Plant has earned the Environmental Excellence Award from the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA).
We extend our gratitude to the dedicated team in Danbury for their efforts in making this achievement possible! We would like to recognize Greg Nadeau, Environmental Compliance Specialist, and Erika Lynne, Administrative Assistant, Environmental Compliance, for their crucial contributions to O&G’s success in earning this award. We appreciate their dedication to maintaining the company’s environmental standards. Greg deserves recognition for his ongoing collaboration with Jim Gallagher, Danbury Facility Manager, and his team to ensure the Danbury facility remains exemplary in its environmental practices.
O&G was one of 11 regional winners from across the country, chosen based on specific evaluation criteria including site aesthetics, environmental documentation, training, water management, air quality management, returned concrete plan, community relations, concrete delivery, and plant sustainability practices.
