The Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy in New London recently celebrated the official grand opening of its newly renovated school after the final phases of construction wrapped up.
During the ceremony, Principal Erica Mahon boasted about the new school saying “Each space sees the potential in our students. Each space holds the opportunity for students to learn skills to access their biggest, most beautiful lives. Each space is made for our students to belong.”
LEARN is a Pre-K -18-year-old special education facility servicing autism disorders, developmental disabilities, social and emotional learning, behavioral disabilities, and transitional programming. The building was a previous Jewish Synagogue that was renovated in 2 Phases by LEARN to help serve their needs for outplacement in one collective place. Congrats to the O&G team for bringing this project across the finish line!
