How long have you been with O&G?

I have been with O&G for 5 months.

What do you do in your position at O&G?

I helped estimate the Meriden/Middletown job and now that it has been awarded, I am helping sign up subs, schedule the work, and develop plans that I will be supervising and executing once the work begins.

How did you get started in the industry?

I got started in the industry while studying engineering at the University of New Haven. The Q-Bridge was right down the road, and I had always enjoyed the aspects of building on a much smaller scale with my father. I got a job as an engineer on the Q-Bridge and was hooked on bridge work after that.

What do you enjoy most about O&G?

I enjoy that O&G is a family business. Even in my short time here I have seen how O&G is run significantly differently than my previous companies with a level of care unheard of in the industry.

What makes our company culture unique?

O&G’s family approach to business is also what I think makes O&G’s culture unique.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to discover?

Something people don’t know about me that they might be surprised to learn is that I traveled for work with my previous company throughout Connecticut and Pennsylvania. My record is 8 moves in 5 years.

What’s one thing on your bucket list? One thing on my bucket list is to learn how to hunt.
