Congratulations On Your Retirement, Charlie Fenn!

Congratulations On Your Retirement, Charlie Fenn!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Charlie Fenn on his retirement from O&G! For the past 16 years, Charlie has served as an operating engineer for O&G, beginning with the Kleen Energy project before moving on to the Route 7 project, where he operated an asphalt roller. In his most recent role, Charlie has been operating a sweeper at various O&G locations. For the last month, he’s been training his replacement, Jessica Edwards, not just on how to run the sweeper, but how to set herself up for a successful career here at O&G.

Charlie’s reputation as a compassionate and caring team member has made him well-liked by everyone he has worked with, and his response when asked what he will miss most about his time with O&G only confirms this. He shared that he will miss the people he has worked with, referring to them as a “great bunch.” However, Charlie is not saying goodbye to work entirely; instead, he is returning to his other craft full-time – cutting hair, which he has been doing since he was 19. Alongside his wife, Charlie owns a barber shop where he will be spending his days behind the barber chair, welcoming his clients with his signature warm smile. We are happy to hear that Charlie plans to spend more time traveling with his wife to visit their son in Miami and his daughter in Denver.

We would like to thank Charlie for his years of dedicated service and for bringing so many smiles to the faces of those he worked with. You will be greatly missed, Charlie, and we wish you all the best in your retirement.
