On Thursday, October 24, the Building Group marked the grand opening of its new office in Providence, Rhode Island. The event saw a strong turnout from local architecture and engineering firms, subcontractors, members of the Rhode Island Building Construction Trades Council, representatives from Build RI—an organization that supports regional economic development and job opportunities for skilled workers in the construction sector—Providence Chamber members, and other distinguished guests.
The celebration featured an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, and attendees were given the chance to mingle with O&G employees while learning about the Building Group’s diverse capabilities.
This milestone follows the successful completion of its initial fast-track design-build project for Providence’s Spaziano Elementary School. With several projects currently underway in Rhode Island, such as Westerly’s State Street School and Spaziano Middle School in Providence, establishing this new office was a natural progression for the Group.
