Central Connecticut State University, Class of 2025, Construction Management
Tell us about your experience at O&G so far. What are you currently working on?
I am working on two renovation projects at UConn Health and Norwalk Hospital. I’ve been reviewing submittals, transmitting RFIs, and working on closeout documents and work plans. I’ve also been involved in estimating multiple industrial projects.
What inspired you to consider an internship with O&G?
O&G is a large company with many different opportunities in different sectors of construction. I believe this will give me the best opportunity to gain experience in different aspects of construction.
Have you had any other internships? If so, where? What did you do?
Last year, I interned with O&G Industries at Bowers Elementary School in Manchester, CT. There, I updated drawings, performed inspections, transmitted submittals, and uploaded field reports.
What inspired you to consider a future career in the construction industry?
From a young age, I was interested in construction. I enjoy solving problems and working with a team of people who are very driven while simultaneously working to give something valuable back to a community.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduating, I plan on becoming a project engineer and then moving up to become a project manager.
Share something about yourself! A fun fact about me is that I can speak Polish. I also like to ski and play golf.
