I AM A WOMAN IN CONSTRUCTION
Sue Duffy, Vice President, Materials Division
How long have you been in the construction industry?
33 years – since I was hired by O&G on April 6, 1989
How did you get started in the construction industry?
My interest in the construction industry, specifically O&G, started early. My father, Richard Bottass, Sr., was employed as a loader operator at O&G. At a very young age, I recall how much I enjoyed visiting the gravel operation in Burlington while on his lunch break. Conversation at the dinner table was often filled with stories of the daily happenings at O&G. When an administrative position became available at Bogue Road, I immediately applied, and the rest is history.
