O&G Industries Vice-President Kara Oneglia was named as the inaugural Best Supporting Woman in the Role of Business by the Northwest Connecticut United Way’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Committee.

Kara is a fourth generation member of O&G’s leadership team and manages all aspects of the company’s Masonry division including its Beacon Falls Fabrication Center and seven Connecticut-based retail locations. Since Kara took over leadership of the division in 2012, O&G has grown to become one of the largest suppliers of masonry products and services in New England.

The announcement was made March 20th press conference at Torrington City Hall. A formal presentation of the award will be made at the Northwest Connecticut United Way’s May 12th Woman of the Year Gala at Torrington Country Club.
